- 3 Peace
"Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow
Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
Please swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill those of your needs
That you don't let show
Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
If there is a load you have to bear
That you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
If you just call me
So just call on me brother, when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'd understand
We all need somebody to lean on
Lean on me when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
Lean on me... "

"We gotta make a change...
It's time for us as a people to start makin' some changes.
Let's change the way we eat, let's change the way we live
and let's change the way we treat each other.
You see the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do
what we gotta do, to survive.
[3]
And still I see no changes can't a brother get a little peace
It's war on the streets & the war in the Middle East
Instead of war on poverty they got a war on drugs
so the police can bother me
And I ain't never did a crime I ain't have to do
But now I'm back with the facts givin' it back to you"

formula to success
SKILL + NETWORKING + DEVOTION= SUCCESS.
This is my formula to success. I believe that if you work hard to gain a skill, any skill that you'll never loose, you'll never be out of a job. If you progress on this skill you'll become a professional. In this lifetime also networking is key to becoming a professional. School is important in that they teach you skills, but unless you have experience with those skills your not a reliable candidate..compared to those with experience. You get the opportunity to gain experience by working hard, and showing that you are willing to do whatever it takes to gain the experience. This is a simple formula to make your dreams into reality. but the most important factor is to WANT it. If you don't understand my philosophy here are a few examples. If you want to be in the music business, i.e. rapper or producer. You must make it your destiny. Hip-hop blogs, learning instruments, music appreciation classes, working at a production company, anything that surrounds you with the industry can benefit you. And once you devote yourself to your life goals and success, everything falls into place..of course through your hard work. nothing will be handed to you without you taking the opportunities that surround you. When you make the decision to WANT it, the opportunity cost are drugs, parties, or other activities that don't advance you in your life goal. But if it is truly near and dear to your heart, that wont matter, because you'll be looking forward to the big picture..which is the success.
So please, if your reading this make your decision to devote your life to success. Leave this world better than you entered it. And pass on the message. It is so crucial to want to be something in life, because simply not thinking about it could lead you to being the next bum on the corner ,or over worked unhappy ass who never strived for more in their life. There is so much empty space in the success room so my brotha's and sista's you better take your spot.

BBCWB
We all think but those who are bold enough to tell are philosophers,
We all write but those brave enough to share are writers,
We all sing but those confident enough to perform are singers,
We all cook but those who want to feed people are chefs,
We are all "some bodies" but those who " be" are important,
Be bold, be brave, be confident, and want something to be something.

Creme De La Crepe
294 Fox Hills Mall
Culver City, CA 90230
Amazing Food & Amazing Service!!!
My sisters and I were at the futuristic fox hills mall $hopping for last minute gifts this week when we decided to go grab some lunch, having previously spent our budget + some at the fox hills food court on mexican food, (sharing a drink), we thought we ought to spend our money wisely and get some food worth the cost, we had passed by Creme De La Crepe before and always thought it was cute. After being served by the best waiter where we felt welcomed, he treated us like Princesses lol...i am a big believer on supporting business where there is outstanding costumer service laying down the ground for me to in return enjoy my meal...(:

Perspective

"Omgahd, i was driving my Dad's porche this weekend to go to my friends house in Marina Del Rey and he lives off of a street called Inglewood so when i put it into my iphone and got lost and ended up in Inglewood, i was so scared"_Girl in my class today...ok well ye my natural reaction was to mock her and be silly and unintentionally the entire class started laughing at me including the teacher..or were they laughing at her? i'm not sure, but who cares any way. My point is..this comment was made by a girl that i have so much respect for as a fellow peer and she found nothing wrong with what she said otherwise she would'nt have said it, personally..i call this racism (due to her tone and body gestures), others might say otherwise and that is fine but i know many many people who have been sheltered in the "security" of the city of Palisades, Santa Monica, Malibu, etc. and that is so unfortunate , how is any one supposed to have a perspective of the world if they've never been out of their own world. At 17 years old i can honestly say i've lived more places than is considered healthy for a child and I would not change my childhood for any others, I have also traveled far far away from home since the 6th grade to go to school along with many other people i know and it is such a blessing because i have gained respect , for people and their cultures, i have got to admit too i have been guilty of racism myself but i have also got to admit it is something we are taught by television shows and the media the only way to realize any different is threw experience, now i Love this girl for who she is, i know she is a kind, sharing, intelligent young girl but i wish she could be taught another view of Inglewood California, this is not my only encounter with this sort of matter, i have had calls at 12 in the morning from White friends whinning that they ended up on Crenshaw and Wilshire and don't know what to do and thought seeing the street Crenshaw was the most exciting thing in the world, the crazy part about it is....most of these people have seen Japan, Africa, traveled the streets of Europe and other great continents and countries but still have not gained perspective of the very own city they live in...the greatly diverse Los Angeles California, maybe we need to set better examples threw the media so that the truth can be revealed. We are all human, not that different from each other in fact ...despite our economic differences that we make so much more important than life itself, the truth is we all know the same pain when a family member dies of a horrible disease, we all know what it feels like to fall in love and to fall out of love, we all know what it feels like to be alone, we all know that great feeling we get from when we learn something new, we all feel the same joy, we all dream, we all want something, and there is that one thing we call feel we can't have....and the beauty in respecting another is understanding their perspective despite looks, where were from, or any other trait that might "define" who we are in the face of a watch.

SisterhPeaced
Help one another, is part of the religion of sisterhood.
~Louisa May Alcot
~Louisa May Alcot
I could not agree any more, i'm all for helping out a fellow sister when ever she is needs, blood or not , I ♥ the Peace girls out here...we are a sisterhood, i get all kinds of messages asking, "can i be a peace girl", and i used to not respond because i thought i have enough sisters, or why do they want to be a peace girl, or what the heck do they want from me...and then i got over myself, i realized we need to all be out here for each other supporting each other , reminding each other we are beautiful, not out here being messy or ratchets or hoes or haters or home wreckers or w.e you may call 'em . . . i just know women have come such a far far way from where our original place was in society and we should embrace that. I see you sisters out here in your tight ass cars, high paying jobs, assuring futures, and i just really every time i pass one say "she poppin" or "she on" , and we should all have that kind of respect for each other then maybe so many guys would not have the power of ruining friendships. . .or preventing you from being able to have a connection that might be able to help you in the future, i just know if your out here doing your thing and trying to reach your goals your a peacegirl in my eyes, think of this way; i dream of the day we all have our careers and life on track and we have the privilege of calling on another peace girl when we need a doctor, a lawyer, a performer, an artist, and a friend, but most of all i can assure that i will be that Peace girl that another can call on and i'll always be there, i'll forever be PEACE
